Our mission at Greenbriar Creek Goat Farm is to provide top quality breeding stock for those interested in starting a herd, increasing or improving an existing herd or supplying the goat meat industry. We strive to produce meat goats that are easily maintained and profitable.

Our herdsires are dual registered AKGA and IKGA North American Purebred bucks. We use a goat management plan to provide our animals the healthiest environment and best nutrition possible. These practices also enable us to reduce the dependency on parasite medications.

Our herdsires are exposed to does producing:
  • North American Purebreed Kiko
  • High Percentage Kiko
  • Percentage Kiko
  • American Boki/Genemaster
  • American Meatmakers

We have implemented the Famacha Eye Scoring System since 2001. In addition to the Famacha Score, we also use Body Conditioning Scoring and ADG (average daily gain) to evaluate our herd. The combination of these methods allows us to select the top quality goats therefore keeping our herd strong and healthy. We routinely work our goats.

Greenbriar Creek Goat Farm is a proud member of the following associations: AMGA, AKGA, IKGA, ABGA, and Sunbelt Co-op. We also raise miniature donkeys for pasture companion animals.

We are located in Oconee County, about 20 miles south of Athens, Georgia. Thank you for your interest in our farm. Please contact us with questions or comments. Enjoy browsing our website.
